Passport to Export - an export assessment and support programme for small and medium-sized enterprises.  Providing new or inexperienced exporters with training, planning and support to grow their business overseas.  For more information visit Passport to Export Service

Trade show Access Programme DIT can offer grants to eligible businesses taking part in the programme. Grants must be matched by the business’s own expenditure on direct exhibiting costs.  For more information visit Trade Show Access Programme

Export Marketing Research Scheme . There are 3 categories of marketing research the scheme can help you with: In-house - help for overseas marketing research studies conducted by a member of your staff; Agency - support for marketing research projects conducted by professional market research agencies ; Published market reports - help with buying market research reports which are available ‘off the shelf’ - but not directories, economic/country overviews or updating subscriptions. Export Communications Review  An Export Communications Review (ECR) will help you develop an international communications strategy. This can help your business overcome language and cultural barriers and could cover subjects ranging such as optimising your website for international business, press releases, catalogues, packaging, handling foreign phone calls and emails, selling online, or recruiting export staff. Overseas Market Introduction Service OMIS puts you in touch directly with DIT staff in over 100 overseas markets. It can help you: access the right international contacts or partners;  find the best way to do business in a market; achieve a successful market entry strategy; increase profits by using effective overseas promotion. Market Visit Support . The Market Visit Support service helps companies with their visits to overseas markets, either as part of an organised group or on an individual basis. Visits can help businesses with research, following up sales leads, trade fair visits, meeting potential agents and distributors. The minimum financial support available is £200, and the maximum is £950, depending on the market visited. There’s a limited amount of funding available so it can’t be guaranteed for every applicant.
